Nelu’s Retirement Benefits Consultants are expected to evaluate regulatory and client- specific benefits requirements and processes, to identify and implement efficient solutions that deliver desired outcomes. A successful candidate will have effective written and verbal communication, organization and multitasking skills.

Position Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership on retirement plan review projects

• Serves as a subject matter expert for retirement plan strategy for clients

• Understands client context and strategy pertaining to benefits and DE&I strategic objectives

• Monitors and analyzes legislative and regulatory actions that may impact benefit plans to develop consulting recommendations

• Reviews and analyze client benefit plan provisions to recommend potential improvements

• Drafts and reviews benefits surveys

• Performs research and analysis based on quantitative data (e.g. cost/impact analyses, benchmarking)

• Prepares document and information requests for client consulting projects

• Prepares presentation decks for client consulting projects (e.g., pitch, kick-off, updates, final reports)

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills

• Effective and flexible communication and public speaking skills

• A relevant Bachelor and/or Master’s degree

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in benefits, consulting, or internal HR
